CourseGraphic Craft wearable masterpieces in the ancient Japanese art of sashiko. Explore the history, tradition and symbolism of iconic motifs like maru, bamboo stalks, cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji and more. Discuss boro, kogin and other basic sashiko stitches and grid patterning as you practice this functional embroidery used to make clothing warmer, repair precious fabrics and add a decorative flair. Supplies required.
