High Desert Halloween: Paint on Wood

Celebrate the season with local artist Ron Rash in this fun, beginner-friendly painting workshop. Working from a custom design created by Ron, you'll learn painting techniques while bringing a whimsical Halloween-inspired scene to life on a wood panel. Along the way, Ron will share tips on color, composition, and creating bold, expressive artwork inspired by the landscapes, flora, and fauna of Northern Nevada. Leave with a finished piece ready to display throughout the spooky season. No painting experience necessary.

Supplies required. 
Please bring the following items:
- 6B Drawing Pencil any brand (no mechanical pencils) 
- 1 #8 Flat or Bright Hog Bristle or Synthetic Hog Bristle Brush for acrylic (any brand)
- 1 #4 Round Nylon or Taklon Watercolor Brush. Something with a little snap to it (not floppy)

Instructor will provide: 
- Paint 
- Prepped and primed panel 
- Transfer-style template
