This introductory Aikido course is designed specifically for seniors and active adults seeking a safe, low-impact approach to movement, balance, coordination, and personal wellness. Rooted in the traditional Japanese martial art of Aikido, the course emphasizes gentle movement, posture, breathing, awareness, and cooperative partner practice in a supportive and non-competitive environment.

Students will explore foundational Aikido principles through modified exercises that improve mobility, flexibility, stability, and confidence while reducing physical strain. No falls, throws, or high-impact techniques are required. Training focuses on mindful movement, body mechanics, and practical exercises that support everyday health and functional fitness.
