CourseGraphic Bring birds closer to home by creating a welcoming habitat right in your own yard. Learn how different foods, native plants, water sources, and nesting options attract a variety of species and support healthy bird populations. Discover the unique joys of backyard birding and gain practical tips for creating an environment that birds will love. Participants are also invited to join an optional field trip to a local birding hotspot, where they can practice identification skills alongside an experienced guide.

Please pack accordingly for the field trip by bringing snacks, food, water, sun protection, layers for Nevada weather, and any other items that will help you feel comfortable for the day. Recommended to bring binoculars, if available. Families are welcome; everyone must register
