ClassGraphic Experience the beauty of handcrafted woodworking as you learn to turn and finish your own unique wooden pen. Under the guidance of expert woodturner Russ Lambert, you’ll master the fundamentals of woodturning and safe equipment operation. Open to students 16 and older (those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult), this hands-on class lets you create a custom pen you’ll treasure for years to come.

Notice

Please read:  Materials cost is paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class. Registration includes all tools, supplies and safety gear required. Close-toed shoes are mandatory in the wood shop. Students are welcome to bring their own safety glasses, hearing protection if so desired. No turning experience is required. Topics include tool safety, proper tool control and gaining a working knowledge of wood turning.
