Turn raw wood into elegant, handcrafted flowers! In this introduction to woodturning, you’ll learn safety protocols, proper use of tools, and how to shape, sand, and finish wooden blooms. Through demonstration and guided practice, explore wood grain, form, and approach as you craft a beautiful keepsake. Perfect for beginners, just bring curiosity and creativity.
$30 materials fee due to instructor at the start of class.

Notice

Please read:  $30 materials cost is paid directly to the instructor on the first day of class. Registration includes all tools, supplies and safety gear required. Close-toed shoes are mandatory in the wood shop. Students are welcome to bring their own safety glasses, hearing protection if so desired. No turning experience is required.
