Bald Eagle Expedition

CourseGraphic Experience the largest wintering bald eagle population in the continental United States located in the Lower Klamath Basin of northeastern California. We'll find these regal creatures all around us, perched on fences, ice lakes and in trees, along with potentially thousands of tundra swans, snow geese and other wintering waterfowl.

Notice

Please read:  Transportation, lodging and other fees not included. Class meets 1/30 from 6-8. 2/8 is a travel day and you should arrive in time to eat dinner with the group. 2/9-2/10 are field trip days. You are responsible for your own food, transportation and lodging. We will stay at Winema Lodge in Tulelake, CA just north of Lava Beds National Monument. Call the Lodge at (530)-667-5158 to reserve a room and tell them you will be with the Bald Eagle trip from Reno. More details at our first meeting (or contact Alan at renopopop@pyramid.net).
