Notice

Please read:  Please bring writing implements, notebooks and/or your laptop. In this class, we’ll read some famous poetry by some famous poets, then—kind of like a watch—take it apart, to see what makes it tick: • the pictures it paints • the sounds • the metaphor or meaning (The Elements of Poetry.) Then, we’ll each decide what is important to us—and try and duplicate that in our own poems.
