CourseGraphic Ophthalmology is one of the fastest-growing healthcare segments in the country and entry level positions average 15 dollars an hour. Through the practical experience offered in labs, you will develop an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the eye, general principles of pharmacology, prescriptions written for the eye, visual acuity and instruments used in the workplace while receiving an in-depth comprehension of theory through the lecture section. This program meets the requirements of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the AAO’s Ophthalmic Medical Assisting Exam after you've met AAO's work experience requirements.   More details
