CourseGraphic Discover the incredible diversity of birds found throughout northern Nevada. With its wide variety of habitats, the Reno area supports an impressive range of species, making it a rewarding destination for bird enthusiasts of all experience levels. Learn about common local birds, explore some of the region's best birding locations, and discover techniques for spotting and identifying birds in the field. Participants are also invited to join an optional field trip to a local birding hotspot, where they can further develop their birding skills alongside an experienced guide.

Please read:  Transportation to the field trip is not included. Please pack accordingly for the field trip by bringing snacks, food, water, sun protection, layers for Nevada weather, and any other items that will help you feel comfortable for the day. Recommended to bring binoculars, if available. Families are welcome; everyone must register.
