What happened to Workforce Development and Community Education?
On Nov. 1, 2019 Truckee Meadows Community College’s primary department that offers noncredit personal enrichment and professional development classes (TMCC WDCE) changed its name to TMCC EPIC (Educational Programs Inspiring the Community). The name change clarifies the differences between TMCC’s noncredit career training programs from its academic workforce training degrees and certificates.

I want to know an instructor’s credentials. Where can I find this information?

Click on the instructor’s name listed with the course’s details.

I can’t find the course I’m looking for. What should I do?

You can search for your class by keyword if you cannot find it in the subcatory you were searching. If you don’t see it listed, the course may be offered only one time a year. Contact us at epic@tmcc.edu and we can let you know the status of the topic that interests you.

Do you offer financial assistance to senior citizens?

Students 65 and older may apply once each semester for $20 in financial assistance toward any $50-and-above personal enrichment course. Contact us at epic@tmcc.edu or 775-829-9010 for details and an application.

Why are TMCC EPIC courses priced differently from other college classes?

These courses are self-supporting and do not receive state tax dollar funding.

How do I cancel my reserved spot in a class?
