Cold Processed Soap 101

Learn how to be a 'saponification specialist', (cold processed soap maker) turning every bathing experience into a spa experience. This is a hands-on class where you will be guided by Kathy Howard, a state-certified science teacher through the steps in basic soap making. She will go over soap making recipes so students feel confident to continue making soaps at home. This is a great class to take with a friend, as you will be working with a partner. Depending on soap mold size, each student makes five(+) bars of soap. Note: This class will make traditional soap; this is not a 'melt and pour' based soap.
