The Alzheimer’s Association is a worldwide voluntary health organization dedicated to Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Alzheimer’s Association services in Nevada reflect the need to support the estimated 55,000 people over the age of 65 who are living with the disease, and the 84,000 caregivers who are providing unpaid care for them. Services include education classes and workshops, support groups for caregivers and people living with the disease, assistance with respite care, and help with legal, financial and care planning. Our free 24/7 Helpline is staffed by master’s level dementia specialists who are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide advice, support, and information, and provide critical referrals to local resources.
