Photograph Spring’s Beauty in the Truckee Meadows

In collaboration with Nevada Land Trust (NLT), this photography workshop with Mark Vollmer explores the fascinating winter life of the Swan Lake Nature Study Area, part of the Washoe County Regional Parks and Open Space system in Reno’s North Valleys. Find out how to use your creativity to capture the unique seasonal character of wetland landscapes & abundant life in this combination classroom session & field shoot. All experience levels & camera formats are welcome.  This is a family-friendly class for ages 12+ accompanied by an adult. There will be an opportunity to photograph before & after scenes of KTMB’s Great Community Cleanup on May 2 at one of their cleanup sites in a park or along the Truckee River.
