Objectives
By the end of this course students will be able to:
  • Practice the incident planning process by performing functional area responsibilities effectively.
  • Given a scenario, use the team process to achieve the direction given by the Agency Administrator.
  • Participate in the incident planning process (Planning P) for a complexity level-appropriate scenario.
  • Participate in the strategic planning process, using values-based decision making to achieve incident objectives
  • Practice conveying command presence and effective leader’s intent.
Target Audience

Students may include individuals who have limited (if any) previous leadership or incident management experience as well as students who have served in technical or leadership roles on incidents.
