CourseGraphic Gain the vital information you need to aid others as they make complex choices during an emotionally difficult time. Learn about the ongoing or short-term care end-of-life patients experience, explore ethical cases related to professionals as they assist with patient autonomy, resolve issues of beneficence and discuss how to avoid malfeasance in certain cases. Discuss the framework of informed decision-making and understand how to designate power of attorney, healthcare or financial decisions. Receive guidance to help navigate documents needed in the end-of-life planning process, including burial or cremation choices. A notary will be on hand to authenticate your end-of-life documents. Some professions may earn CEUs through taking this class.
