CourseGraphic Boost your table appeal with functional pots, bowls and plates. Discover the ancient technique of throwing, the act of centering a ball of clay on the wheel head and shaping it into the finished product. Practice forcing the clay into rounded vessels, deep basins and wide, flat dishes. Enjoy a demonstration of the firing process using a ceramic kiln. Learn about different glazes used for decoration, permanency and waterproofing. Take home your creations - pieces are dishwasher, microwave and food safe. $50 materials fee

Please read:  Entrance on Harvard Drive, turn left and drive all the way to the last building on the right before you exit the campus back onto Harvard Drive. It is the Industrial Arts Building and enter at the door nearest the road out to Harvard Drive. Signs will be posted.
