CourseGraphic Learn to prepare the hearty, traditional foods of the Pyrenees. Make two versions of bechamel sauce, one with cod and one with ham, a tortilla de patata or potato omelet, stuffed peppers and two to three pintxos with bread and savory ingredients. Add a lamb entrée and salad, then feast on your own creation. Get insider information and anecdotes on Basque culture and take home additional recipes. $35 materials fee

Please read:  Materials fee covers all food costs. Recipes will depend on seasonal constraints, but ingredients will include baguettes, potatoes, eggs, tuna, peppers, tomatoes, cod, lamb, piquillo peppers, anchovies, lettuce, flour, oil and spices purchased by the instructor. Please bring an apron to class and a to-go box for leftovers.
