« back to classes page
CourseGraphic Almost half of all adults will experience mental illness in their lifetime. Find out how to recognize and mitigate these challenges to ensure your business’ safety and productivity. Stress can be a trigger, one that decreases the bandwidth we have available to solve problems and use effective coping skills. Discuss how to identify workplace drivers of stress and learn how to mitigate those factors. Then, find out how to identify, understand and effectively respond to signs of mental illness. Practice skills, such as empathetic listening, so you can help troubled coworkers connect with resources to provide them valuable assistance. Explore the scope of this problem and discuss how increasing acrimony over social and political issues can negatively contribute to this issue.
