For decades the TMCC Writers' Conference has brought in the West's best literary experts to help writers attain their dream.
 
Discover the vital aspects in writing a successful query and presenting an in-person pitch from an East Coast Agent and author of more than 30 books. Better grasp what an agent expects from a query and how you can meet those expectations. Craft your own verbal pitch and have an opportunity to present it to the class. You can also bring your query to class for critique. If you are pitching an agent at the TMCC Writers’ Conference, this class will fully prepare you for that meeting.

Private sessions are open to writers' conference participants only. Jennifer is an associate agent with the Andrea Brown Literary Agency, an agency that specializes in children’s literature. She enjoys all genres and categories of children’s literature, such as laugh-out-loud picture books and middle-grade adventures, but her sweet spot is young adult. Although she mostly represents children’s literature, she is also open to adult fiction.

These private sessions are open to to registered writers' conference participants only. Gain insight into your writing by spending one-on-one time with Sheree Bykofsky, president of Sheree Bykofsky Associates, Inc. Bring the first two pages of your piece and a query letter. Or spend your appointment time asking questions on how to proceed with your work. Your meeting will last 10 minutes and you will receive your meeting time when you check-in the morning of the conference. You must be a paid registrant for the entire conference to qualify for this appointment. Sheree is a generalist who represents all areas of nonfiction and fiction. In nonfiction, she enjoys popular reference, business, self-help/psychology, humor, biography and current affairs, women’s interest, cookbooks, spiritual, multicultural, parenting, anything to do with games, movies, chronologies.
